Persistent identifiers

An entity identifier refers to a person, place, event or other subject described by this archive.

Published records display their canonical entity URI. Browsers following an identifier are directed to its record page. Data clients may request Linked Art JSON-LD or CIDOC CRM Turtle with the HTTP Accept header.

Default identifiers use the immutable record UUID: https://yisunsinarchive.com/id/{UUID}.

When a record is first published, its canonical URI should be retained through later corrections. Draft and withdrawn records are not available through the public service.
